The Greater Emporia   BBQ Festival   is a State Championship Contest and sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society and will follow their rules and judges criteria. Professional and amateur teams are welcome.

GRAND CHAMPION - $1,500.00 and RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION - $750.00 in prize money. For complete listing click here .

Once again we will hold the Festival at Peter Pan Park in Emporia, KS on August 10 & 11. The Cook Teams will have a large area to work in with electricity and water provided at no additional charge. Reebles Community BBQ Lunch at the tennis courts from 11:30 to 1:00 Saturday, Aug 11.  The cost is $5.00 and the meat will be cooked by some of our outstanding TEAMS competing in the cook-off. The Peter Pan Park Play Ground Committee will be volunteering for this event. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Peter Pan Park Playground Fund. A special thanks to Farmland for their donation of the meat.

                 WEBER Genesis SP-310 Grill to be given away. Make a donation for your chance at this        outstanding Grill valued at $499.00. Drawing will take place after the Awards Ceremony that starts at 4:00pm.
